As Aritco approaches its 30th anniversary, we find ourselves reflecting on a year of growth, innovation, and meaningful impact. 2024 has been a testament to our commitment to evolving with purpose – pushing the boundaries of design, accessibility, and sustainability while staying true to our mission of transforming lives. With exciting updates, inspiring stories, and a deepened connection to our “why,” this year has set the stage for an even brighter future.
2024 Year in Review
From inspiring stories to groundbreaking design advancements, 2024 has been a year of purpose and progress for Aritco.
We evolved
As Aritco soon completes its third decade, we are more committed than ever to continue to evolve and innovate. This year, Aritco took innovation to new heights, blending style, functionality, and user-focused design. From reimagining the HomeLift with stunning customization options to launching a website packed with tools to inspire and empower homeowners and architects alike, Aritco continues to redefine what’s possible in modern lift design.
Releasing the most customizable home lift on the market
In September, Aritco launched its newest edition of the Aritco HomeLift featuring a suite of new design options. Homeowners can choose from four new DesignWalls created by renowned designer Alexander Lervik, inspired by some of the world’s most iconic cities. Or they can customize their DesignWall with any image they choose. The updates also include new lift colors like gold and bronze, new lighting options, ceiling displays and more. These exciting updates were created to acknowledge the need for a home lift that reflects the unique styles of modern homeowners.
New Aritco website updates
In 2024, we improved the Aritco website, offering a set of new features to make it easier for homeowners, business owners, architects and designers to find the right lift for their needs. The new LiftGuide Lite allows users to quickly see how different customization options look in real life, and the site now also makes it easier to compare different lift models. For architects, a dedicated landing page provides a toolbox with quick access to essential resources for integrating lifts into design projects, including case studies, BIM and DWG files, and detailed factsheets.
We shared the “Magic” of Aritco with the world
In 2024, Aritco brought the enchanting beauty of the Scandinavian forest to trade shows and design forums across the globe. A highlight of the year was the debut of our captivating “Fairytale” exhibition at Milan Design Week, an interactive display that transported visitors to magical woodland landscapes inspired by legendary Swedish artist John Bauer. Featuring a custom DesignWall showcasing one of Bauer’s illustrations, the exhibit set the stage for the launch of Aritco’s new suite of customizations, demonstrating how the Aritco can bring anyone’s interior design dreams to life.
The “Fairytale” was equally well-received at Design Shanghai 2024. Its nature-inspired theme was a perfect conversation starter during this year’s event which centered around sustainable design. The whimsical display even made it to Spain as part of the La Feria Habitat de Valencia.
This year also marked Aritco’s debut at Index Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, where we expanded our presence in the MENA region. The exhibit showcased the latest design updates for the Aritco HomeLift, including the Stockholm DesignWall by Alexander Lervik, while underscoring the lift’s stylish accessibility for homes and businesses alike. To further engage with the region’s design community, Aritco hosted a “lunch and learn” event with 25 of the Middle East’s leading architects and designers, sharing our innovative approach to lifts and gaining insights into the market’s unique needs.
We reconnected to our “Why”
Aritco’s mission extends beyond simply providing accessibility – it’s about transforming lives and unlocking new possibilities for people across the globe. This year we were reminded of the many ways in which Aritco home and commercial lifts have helped people live better, fuller lives.
One especially touching story from 2024 was the installation of a HomeLift in the home of young Mateo, diagnosed at age two with a neuromuscular condition that will limit his mobility for life. Determined to give Mateo the freedom and independence every child deserves, the Arpa family installed an Aritco HomeLift Compact, empowering him with greater access to his home and a newfound sense of autonomy and possibility.
We are looking back with gratitude and looking forward with excitement
So much has been achieved this year (and these past three decades), we’re so grateful to our team, our partners and our customers around the world. In 2025, we will celebrate Aritco’s 30th anniversary and there will be many more exciting new announcements, events and achievements to look forward to!
