‘Grand Designs’ on Swedish TV4 Presents Dream Home with Aritco HomeLift

Popular TV show ’Grand Designs’ on Swedish TV4 presents hopeful house enthusiasts as they build their dream homes. On December 13^th, Jakob Paulin and Petra Ellström’s Villa Alsvik in Stockholm suburb Åkersberga is presented. The gorgeously designed and recently installed Aritco lift is one of the elements in their three-floor villa that the couple most appreciates.

“A bit nervous!” says Jakob. “It will be the first time seeing the episode for us as well, so it will be quite exciting. There have been some hints about the episode involving a lot of construction as well as us putting plenty of effort in and doing a lot of the work ourselves.”

“We are very happy with the elevator shaft and the round skylights on the second floor. We used the same aesthetic shape for a concrete wall by the entrance. The slight twist on the first floor of the elevator shaft is also nice and enticing. The 15-degree rotation gives the second floor view a better angle.”

“The garage skylights are another favorite. They provide some amazing light” adds Petra.

“We are also very happy with our Aritco lift” Jakob continues. “It is like a moving piece of art. Stunningly beautiful with the black design combined with the lighting. We actually tend to keep the lift on whichever floor we are on as it is so cool to see. It also makes access to the glass room on the third floor effortless. Bringing food and drinks up there will just be so much easier moving forward.”
