Design and accessibility in focus

The new Aritco Access series focus on accessibility. And, for the first time, an Aritco public elevator has design in focus, thanks to award-winning Swedish designer Alexander Lervik.

The Aritco PublicLift Access has been installed for the first time in Strängnäs, Sweden. We asked some Håkan Allerhed of HTM Montage, who installed the lift, for his opinions.

What do you think of the new Aritco lift?

The most obvious difference is the design – this elevator is better looking. We also appreciate the improved placement of the emergency battery and a good solution to have an electric lock instead of a mechanical one. Otherwise, there is not much difference in terms of installation.

How does the elevator suit your customer's needs?

-As this lift is for the public market, reliability is first and foremost. We have installed other brands as well, but they do not have quite the same reliability and lack of defects. From a service point of view, the Aritco lifts are easy to work with and generally require minimal service measures. Finally, Aritco’s elevators can be installed pretty fast.
