Some of the most common questions from people when they consider a lift for their homes are related to safety. People want to be reassured that their lift will be safe in all situations that can occur in a home, especially with children around. That’s why safety in every detail has always been something we focus on.
Safety for the whole family

Designed with children in mind
So how do we make sure that buyers of the Aritco HomeLift will feel safe? I think a lot of it starts with thinking about how children may interact with a lift. Many of our customers have kids and we know that children will play in and around the lift – it’s an irresistible part of make-believe. We therefore implemented a set of features and functions in our SmartSafety system that offer immediate reassurance and makes the lift feel safe for the whole family.
One of them is to have smart doors to stop if they sense something is in the way. Another is a child lock to keep children from operating the lift unsupervised.
Back-up power supply
Unlike lifts in commercial buildings, where there are backup power systems and full-time maintenance staff around, you’re kind of on your own in your house. Help is not going to be instantaneous. So our Home Lifts have batteries that provide back-up power in case of a power failure. The batteries also have a feature that keep them from discharging when the power is disconnected. You can also make emergency calls from Aritco HomeLift.
And then there is the screw-and-nut drive system itself, which is well-proven and safe. All these things together make our lifts fit people’s lifestyles as well as they do their décor.
