At Aritco, we are proud of our HomeLifts and always strive to make a good first impression. We are also proud of how we continuously work to find ways of reducing our environmental impact.
Our latest innovation is a new packaging system that enables a much more efficient transport since the crates are strong enough to be stacked. This lets us fit more units into the same sized containers. The savings add up to:
– 30 % space saved if shipping only one lift
– 50 % space saved if shipping two lifts
– 25-30 % fewer containers
– 10 % less trailers means lower transport cost
Reducing the number of shipments results in lower CO2 emissions and less climate impact on the environment. The new packaging also protects the lifts better during transport, with less chance of defects.
The very first six lifts in the new wooden packaging shipped at the end of March. Three went to Europe, two to China and one to Thailand. Full production with the new packaging solution started end of April.
