The opportunity
A Jakarta-based paediatrician had a vision to establish a paediatric clinic in the PIK district of Jakarta. PIK is an affluent residential development in the north of Indonesia’s vibrant capital city. The Hello Kidz clinic is part of a larger complex designed by developer Agung Sedayu Group. A lift would be a vital necessity for the clinic, which would be spread across four floors, in order to provide access for patients, doctors and other visitors. Safety was also a top concern, especially with the large amount of children that would be frequenting the clinic.
The lift
The paediatrician began his search where most searches begin: on Google. It was there that he came across an advertisement for Aritco lifts, and his interest was immediately piqued. He contacted Aritco’s local partner PT Sumber Kreatifa Elevatoria (Skelevatoria) and arranged a visit to their showroom also located in the PIK district. Right away, he was drawn to the design of the Aritco Public Lift Access, which he knew would fit in perfectly with the aesthetic of the children’s clinic. The advanced child safety features also perfectly matched his needs.
The result
The futuristic operating panel and bright interior create a light and positive experience for children, families and staff as they travel up and down the floors of the clinic in what seems more like a magic spaceship than a commercial lift. As they arrive to their floor, through the lift’s full-glass door they can see the colorful reception areas, many with toys and activities. All in all, the lift has added to the feeling of optimism, playfulness and safety that the clinic aims to provide its patients.
