The eye catcher in your home lift - with Alexander Lervik

Our ambition is for your Aritco HomeLift to enhance the experience of your home and be an eye-catcher you don’t want to hide away. Therefore, design and individual choices are important cornerstones in our product. Like being able to choose between nine different design walls for your lift.

Meet the four creators of the nine Aritco DesignWalls. In a series of posts, we ask each of them three questions. The first is with Aritco head designer Alexander Lervik. Alexander has a background of more than 20 years as a product designer, with exhibitions in Sweden and other countries. In addition to designing the Aritco HomeLift, he is the creator of two of the design walls, including the second-most popular one. Can you guess which one?

– Perfection, form and expression.

– Creating good products requires a large number of professions where everyone contributes part of the result. Design is one part of “the bigger picture.” A product that has not been designed by a professional designer doesn’t have the same basis for success. The best results come about when the designer is involved from the start and has the opportunity to influence the entire product, not just the surface.
