Meet the creators of the Aritco DesignWalls. In a series of posts, we ask each of them three questions.

Photographer Erik Undéhn studied at the International Center of Photography in New York and works in Stockholm on both national and international assignments.

“The two works are completely independent of each other and were photographed at different times in Florida and in Tokyo. When Aritco asked me to create alternatives for their design wall, I immediately thought of these two. They have previously been shown in exhibitions and I knew that they would work well in the Aritco Homelift.”

“Design for me creates the room and the experience of being in a particular place. A well-designed surface provides a sense of calm and creates a harmonious place. As a photographer, I am very aware of the impact of design on how an image is perceived. I often start from the objects in a room and how they are designed when I choose the angle and compose the image.”
